MARK YOUR CALENDARS: Here's the official BSD2 2025-2026 calendar

The District 2 Board of Education approved the official 2025-2026 school calendar during its December 18 meeting.
Key dates are outlined below:
- Beginning of the School Year: Student attendance for Grades K-8 will begin on Wednesday, August 20.
- Thanksgiving: Thanksgiving will be celebrated on Thursday, November 27. There will be no school that week.
- Winter Break: There will be no school Monday, December 22, through Friday, January 2, with classes reconvening on Monday, January 5.
- Spring Break: There will be no school Monday, March 30, through Monday, April 6, with schools reopening Tuesday, April 7.
- End of the School Year: The last day of school will be Tuesday, June 2, unless emergency days are needed.
